Done when they see a patient insurance Companies will not pay so those medical Records need to have certain things in Them and so you're checking to make sure Those things are there and if they're Not you are getting the doctors to put Them there you'll be creating and Routing the chart folders for new Patients collecting all current Discharge information in Old charts from Various departments so you may be Working with the doctors regarding the Incomplete charts like I just said they Are looking for someone who is a high School diploma or GED no college degree Is needed it does say if you have quite A good experience they will take that in Lieu of the required degree or diploma So you don't even have to have a high School diploma if you do have experience Now as far what they're looking for is Someone who has a knowledge of medical Terminology someone who has a great Communication skills the ability to deal Effectively with detailed confidential Information because you are dealing with People's medical records of course you Need to know how to use a Windows Computer systems and Microsoft Office if That's Outlook Excel word all of those Things the ability to read and Comprehend complex instructions and Knowledge of electronic health records Now if that is you they start to pay
