HOW TO SPOT SPAM/FAKE WORK FROM HOME REMOTE JOB POSTINGS BEWARE SO YOU DON’T LOSE $ OR YOUR IDENTITY

Hello hello what is up and welcome back To my Channel or if it's your first time Here welcome my name is CeCe I post These videos daily here on my channel to Help you guys transition out of an Office job to a work from home job my Kitty wants to say hello if you guys Follow me on Instagram you've definitely Seen him he is the light of my life and The Tyrant of my life he's a bit of both But today I have some tips that I want To give you guys some more Evergreen Tips that you can refer back to this Video on when applying for jobs to be Able to spot spam and scams and kind of As a transition out of this channel Um and pour myself into more of what I'm Passionate about I do want to leave you Guys with a lot of really helpful videos So Time is coming soon it's not super soon But I will be honest and say that as I'm Evolving as I'm growing a lot of things Are changing for me what I want to put My time and my effort into and I would Never want to give half of myself to Something so that is kind of why but I Wanted to share some of my good tips With you guys so as you go on your Journeys you look for your own jobs you Can spot the scams and so the number one Thing I can tell you is always to trust Your gut if you feel like something is Off then it probably is off and there

Are so many jobs that are out there that You can apply to that if one seems off Just skip it don't send in your Application to it and Um you know move along but some key Things that I can say are spelling and Grammar and not just a couple mistakes Here and there but things being off Throughout the whole posting that is one Big thing another big thing is when you Apply to a job you should normally hear Back for an interview between 24 to 48 Hours not two hours and same night so a Lot of times they are eager to get the Process started because they want to Take your money which is another thing Do not send money for a job no job Should cost you money to you know apply To or to get hired and any of these Companies that say we want to send a Check and then you deposit it that's how We verify your bank that is also a scam That is how they are trying to get your Banking info so do not accept checks From anyone do not accept cash for Anyone none of that Um because I think what they do actually Too is they send you a check the check Clears you take the money out you send The cash back to them and then I'm sorry The check is pending so it hasn't Cleared but you take the cash out and Send the money back to them the bank Then Flags you and takes that money out

Of your bank account because they Fronted you the money and there's Essentially no way to get the money back It's untraceable so don't do any of that That is 100 a scam as well now if it's a Website that is a a paid service of a Website I know there are a lot of those Out there where you might have to pay For a membership to open up the job Board that's different but use your Discretion as always and if you don't Have funds to pay for one of those like Flex jobs or subscription sites then go To other sites to look for it and simply Don't pay for those either another tip That I have is to be mindful who you Send your social security number to so It is customary after you get a job Offer sometimes they want you to submit A background check and they will ask for Your social security number Um sometimes even two on the application They do ask for it but you need to be Mindful of what you're sending it who You're sending it to where you're Sending it because that is obviously Your full identity so if it's not a big Major corporation and it's a smaller Company I would recommend waiting until You have an offer letter you've already Interviewed you've gotten a feel for People before sending any of that over And if anyone has a problem with it you Can simply say well I'm sorry I would

Love to sun is over but I would actually Like to interview first get to know a Little bit more about the company get to Know a little bit more about the job Before I submit that Um is that okay and see the reaction to It they get angry about that then it's Kind of an indicator that they're mad For why because they want to cross your Boundary so be mindful who you send your Social security number to and of course My biggest tip is if you see a posting On Simply Hired indeed Etc you can Scroll down to the bottom and sometimes It'll say original job and you can click That and it will take you to the company Website where the job listing has been Posted and there's also on indeed a Section up at the top where you can see Reviews of people who have worked for The company before and you can click Through to that click through to that And if there still isn't either of those Two I recommend cross-referencing the Job on the comedy website so you can Always go to the company's direct Website scroll down to the bottom Usually there's a careers page with an Open job and see if that open job Listing is also is still there and if It's not go to that direct company's Website scroll to the bottom click Contact us and ask if this is actually Them uh posting through these sites and
