Canada you're going to have to make sure That you can work the hours that Coordinate with the US teams but this is A full-time position and it is a 1099 Contractor position now it is non-phone Since you're helping the moderators Moderate all of the online content so All of these communities and forums have Moderators and the moderators go through And try to tag and remove all kinds of Content that is not appropriate to be on The Forum boards and so you're gonna Basically be like an assistant to the Moderators you'll provide a timely and High quality support to the moderators And in the communities so you'll be Taking inbound requests to navigate Sensitive situations with attention to Detail and responding with empathy now These inbound requests are through Tickets through zendesk or through the Mod support actual Reddit Forum so you Will be using the Reddit forums for this Main responsibilities are address Moderator request issues and concerns Maybe a moderator is looking through the Content and they're like okay I've Tagged this to be removed and so they Put in the ticket or request and then You go through and do those actions Maybe you remove the content you will Help troubleshoot and escalate bugs and Operations issues issues you'll review Reported content against reddit's

Content policy policy and re-escalate Potential errors moderators are tagging Things to be removed you're double Checking them and agreeing to remove Them it's like a checks and balances you Will screen the top mod removal request To ensure criteria is met and you'll Respond to the moderators via zendesk Which is a ticketing system or again the Reddit moderator support Forum now this Is 40 hours a week and you may have to Work some weekends but if this sounds Like a great job for you there don't Require any kind of college degree They're looking for someone who is Strong written in verbal communication Skills great attention to detail someone Who is self-motivated and can handle a High volume of varied inquiries from the Moderators someone who has strong Judgment skills on how to engage in a Topic discussions especially with Sensitive situations and someone who is Familiar with ticketing systems like Zendesk is a bonus but is not required Now one thing to note they did not list Salary and pay in this that will have to Be discussed at the time of the Interview I do have reddit's glass door Page linked down below with the job page As well although I did try to search Through the salaries and could not find Anything that had a community manager or Moderator in it alright as always if
